As a general rule, the more sellers a company has the more popular it is likely to be. It is not a perfect measurement, as manufacturers will have different distribution models, however it is a useful indicator of the size/popularity of the brand.
LinkedIn is a great tool to find named people in a company and getting in touch to do business with them. If you have a good number of solar contacts in your network then you should be able to see many of the people in these PV companies.
