Neo Solar Power Corp. posted a slight year-on-year increase in revenue in the month of May. Revenue for the month reached 1,700 million TWD ($52.8 million), up 4.73% year on year and 9.94% month on month.

Neo Solar Power Corp. will close a 60 MW solar cell production line at its manufacturing facility in Hsinchu by the end of May. The new facility will have an initial annual capacity of 500MW to 600MW.

Neo Solar Power has raised 2.88 billion TWN ($80.9 million) through the rights issue of of 160 million new common shares. The company offered its shares at a price of 18 TWN ($0.55) per share.
