On 4th January 2016, a client visited Geco Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. Two days later, they placed an order for a 250kW rooftop solar plant.
The solar plant, which will use 980 modules, is located on the rooftop of a cable factory in Jiangmen, Guangdong. Geco will design and supply a pre-cast, concrete-foundation solar mounting system for the project. The system will have a vertical layout, a 15°module angle and cover a total area of 2,000 square meters. The plant will generate about 250,000 kWh per year, which will be supplied to the factory, with surplus power sold to the grid company. The clean, renewable energy generated every year will offset the burning of 83 tons of coal, reduce CO2 emission by 217 tons and SO2 emission by three tons. Overall, the plant will provide an economic benefit of as much as 67,000 Yuan per year.
