Phoenix Solar to Build 65MW PV Power Plant in Nevada

Phoenix Solar, Inc. has been awarded a contract to design and build a 65MW photovoltaic power plant for Invenergy Solar Development LLC.

The Luning Solar Energy Project ("LSEP") will incorporate advanced 1,500 Volt plant architecture with polycrystalline modules mounted on a single axis tracking system.

The project is located near Luning in Mineral County, NV and was developed by Invenergy Solar Development LLC. Phoenix Solar Inc. will be responsible for the plant engineering, procurement of the balance of plant materials, and construction which is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2016. This photovoltaic power plant will be built on public land owned by the federal Government and managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM).
