Ⅰ. Introduction:

Intersolar North America, North America's most attended solar event and premier networking platform, takes place July 11-13, 2017 in San Francisco. The event’s exhibition and conference both focus on the areas of photovoltaics, PV production technologies, smart renewable energy and solar thermal technologies. Since being founded, Intersolar has become the most important industry platform for manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, service providers and partners of the solar industry.

Attendees were delighted to discover innovative new products and services, as well as ample business and networking opportunities, on the 2016 Intersolar and ees North America exhibition floor. All three levels of the expo enjoyed robust foot traffic, as thousands of visitors from around the world saw cutting-edge displays from across the solar value chain and from energy storage businesses.

The Intersolar North America exhibition featured six exhibition segments: PV Cells and Modules; PV Manufacturing Equipment, Materials and Components; Balance of Systems; Components; Mounting and Tracking Systems; and Solar Heating and Cooling. Both established industry players and early and mid-stage companies attracted visitors. Smartflower Energy regularly drew crowds with its solar flower display. The towering array automatically unfurled solar-paneled “petals” at regular intervals, impressing passers-by. The system, which launched in the U.S. at Intersolar North America, produces 2.5 kWh, which is the equivalent of a 4.0kWh fixed rooftop system. Beamreach Solar was another popular attraction. The company, which unveiled its new global brand at Intersolar Europe, attracted people interested in its lightweight, easy-to-install solar modules for commercial and industrial customers.
