Powerway Has Shipped Production Equipment to South Africa

On July 10th, 2012, the first production line was shipped from Guangdong Powerway, en route to South Africa. The initial shipment of equipment will arrive at Powerway’s mounting structure factory in Kimberley, towards the end of August, through the port of Elizabeth. It starts the countdown to the commencement of production in the factory.

Ms. Sherry Shi, Powerway's CMO, said, "This is a significant milestone for Powerway. Since we announced our investment in solar farm projects in South Africa we have been busy with equipment selection, purchasing, and debugging. Now, Powerway South Africa is pleased to announce that the project has been completed on schedule, setting a solid foundation for local production in the near future. Powerway's local presence will result in thousands of jobs, easing the challenges of providing local employment. In addition, large numbers of workers will benefit from our training programme. We are confident that Powerway will grow and prosper, while making a significant contribution to the economy of South Africa."
