Ingeteam has supplied 23 of its 4.8MW power stations for the Clare Solar Farm project, located in the Australian state of Queensland. This 100MWAC (125MWDC) project, conducted by Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV), is being constructed by the Australian EPC, Downer EDI.

The energy generated by this solar plant, which is still at the construction stage, is to be injected into the distribution network operated by the Origin Energy electricity company.

The Ingeteam 1,500Vdc technology was selected for this project, involving the supply of the company's INGECON® SUN PowerMax central inverters. The solution, in the form of a power station, comprises three of these inverters housed in a 40 foot container, in addition to a power transformer, low voltage switchgear, medium voltage switchgear and auxiliary services panel.
