JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd today announced that the company has supplied 135MW of its Tiger Pro bifacial modules for a solar-agriculture project built by China Resources Power Corp., in Qingyuan, Guangdong province. JinkoSolar’s Tiger Pro bifacial modules with a rated power of 540 Wp have gained growing recognition as a promising means for integrating agriculture and solar-energy harvesting which offers great generation performance and a positive impact on crop growth and development.
The success of this project has confirmed that the value of coexistence of agriculture and renewable energy is maximized by utilizing JinkoSolar’s Tiger Pro bifacial module owing to its high efficiency, high bifaciality, minimum shading impact, lower light-induced, and crop-cultivation environment-induced degradation. The project serves as a model for the wider adoption of durable bifacial modules in a variety of ground-mounted installations.
