Sinopec has built 18 solarized service station in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, powered by JinkoSolar's high-efficiency dual glass bifacial solar panels. The rooftop solar systems at the Sinopec's retail outlets are certified with Class A fire-proof thanks to the electric security design of JinkoSolar's bifacial solution. It is a milestone in the Sinopec's program to solarize certain of its service stations across the country, begun in late 2020. Work will accelerate in the coming year to equip more of Sinopec's retail network stations with JinkoSolar's next-generation N-type Topcon module of higher efficiency, higher rated power, higher bifacility, and optimized current to ensure more performance and reliability.

Sinopec is also solarizing production sites, such as plants and refineries, and office buildings. A number of projects to equip various plants or office buildings with JinkoSolar's N-type Topcon bifacial panels have been identified.

"Sinopec's service stations around China equipped with the solar panels are more independent of the grid and consistent with Sinopec's ambition to become the responsible energy major", said Dany Qian, VP of Jinkosolar, "we plan to provide Sinopec's new solar-equipped retail outlets with our n-type Topcon dual glass bifacial panels of over 22% efficiency, 85% bifacial factor, about 14A Isc to maximize limit roof space while guarantee the security of system. This milestone achievement reflects our ability to support traditional oil and gas customers with cleaner, more affordable and safer electricity."
