July 25, 2013 – Hanwha Q CELLS expands its footprint in the Japanese PV market, delivering its solar modules to investor Sumitomo Corporation and NTT facilities. Hanwha Q CELLS will provide a total of 60MW – or more than 235,000 PV modules. The Q.PRO G3 modules with power classes of 245Wp, 255Wp and 260Wp will be installed in solar power parks in Kitakyushu, Tomakomai and Saizo. The modules will be delivered between July 2013 and June 2014.

With Hanwha Q CELLS as the project's module provider, three solar powerhouses join forces in this project: Hanwha Q CELLS, NTT facilities and Sumitomo.

Q CELLS' Q.PRO G3 series is part of the company's new G3 product family.

"Japan is continuing to invest heavily in solar energy by building solar power plants. Having been chosen as PV module supplier for the three plants, Hanwha Q CELLS again demonstrates the premium quality of our products, which combine high yields with top reliability," said Jong Seo Kim, Head of Hanwha Q CELLS Japan.
