August 29, 2013 - Eurus Energy will start the construction of Japan's large photovoltaic power plant in Rokkasho Village, Aomori Prefecture, with a total AC output capacity of 115MW (DC:148MW).

This plant will use two sites in the Mutsu-Ogawara Industrial Park to install approximately 510,000 panels of photovoltaic modules over 253 ha tract (50 times as large as Tokyo Dome).

The start of the commercial operation of the plant is planned for November 2015.
