NEXTracker Supplies Trackers to Power 42MW PV Project in Georgia

NEXTracker today announced that it will ship its trackers to DEPCOM Power for the 42MW (DC) Paw Paw Solar Facility in central Georgia. The Paw Paw project, recently acquired by Southern Company subsidiary Georgia Power, is coming to fruition thanks to the Georgia Power Advanced Solar Initiative. Construction on Paw Paw began in June and the plant is due to be completed by the end of 2015.

"DEPCOM is excited to be deploying NEXTracker technology on this Georgia Power solar project. We believe this tracker represents an effective solution for utility-scale arrays, with faster installation speed, and reduced field wiring cost," said Jim Lamon, CEO, DEPCOM Power.
