Egnatia Romania Completes Photovoltaic Parks Totaling 10MW

March 26, 2013 - Egnatia Romania announces that has finalized the works and connected to the national electricity grid, photovoltaic parks in total of 10MW, during December 2012 and January 2013.

More exactly, the EPC (engineering-procurement-construction) Egnatia Romania developed and connected to the grid a 3MW photovoltaic project in Bistrita, on December 21, 2012. The project was developed for Romanian private investors. The EPC contractor announces that for this PV project there were used REC 250 panels and Power One inverters.

Another 6MW photovoltaic project was coupled to the electricity network for foreign private investors by Egnatia Romania in Varasti, Giurgiu County, on January 21, 2013. The Varasti PV park was completed using Yingli PV panels and Power One inverters.

Egnatia Romania has also finalized recently a 1MW photovoltaic park in Targu Frumos, Iasi County, for foreign private investors.

Up until now, EPC contractor Egnatia Romania has developed and connected to the Romanian electricity grid photovoltaic parks totaling 12.7MW, for several investors, during the last 8 months. Moreover, the company has under implementation several solar projects for Q1 and Q2 of this year.
