    Canadian Solar Completes Sale of 9MW Aria Solar Power Plant

    Canadian Solar Inc. today announced that Canadian Solar Solutions Inc., completed the sale of the 9MW AC Aria Solar Plant ("Aria") valued at over CAD $65.6 Million (USD $47.2 Million) to One West Holdings Ltd. The Aria 9MW AC solar power plant is located in the Township of Elmvale, Ontario and consists of 48,528 Canadian Solar MaxPower CS6X-300/310P PV modules.

    ReneSola Announces Sale of Two Projects in Japan

    ReneSola Ltd today announced that it has sold two projects in Japan. The projects, located in Tochigi Prefecture, are utility scale systems with capacity of 920kW and 590kW, respectively, and both are qualified for Japan's 32 Yen FiT scheme. The transaction was closed this week and the Company has received all proceeds from the sale.

    ASUR and SunPower Plan 36MW Solar Project in Mexico

    Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste, S.A.B. de C.V. (ASUR) announced an agreement today with SunPower Corp. for 36MW of solar power to serve ASUR's operations in Mexico. ASUR will buy power generated by the solar power plant under a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) with SunPower.

    UC Santa Barbara Partners with SunPower to Bring 5.2MW of Solar Power to Campus

    SunPower Corp. and University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) today announced plans for 5.2-megawatts (DC) of SunPower® systems to be installed on rooftops and in parking lots on the university's campus.     Canadian Solar Completes the Sale of Illumination Solar Power Plant to DIF

    Canadian Solar Inc. today announced the sale of the 10MW AC (14MW DC) Illumination LP solar power plant to an affiliate of DIF Infrastructure III ("DIF"). The solar power plant, valued at CAD $65.9 Million (USD$48.4 Million), consists of approximately 47,448 Canadian Solar MaxPower CS6X-300/310P PV modules and is located in Scugog, Ontario. It reached commercial operation on November 13, 2015, and will sell electricity pursuant to a 20-year Independent Electricity System Operator feed-in-tariff contract.

    Renewvia Energy completed the last disposition contingency for a 26MW solar project in Uruguay. Renewvia solely owned the project through the special purpose entity Alto Cielo. Solarpack was the interim owner of the project before SunEdison, took possession.
