Borrego Solar and sPower Complete 9.1MW Suffolk County Solar Projects
sPower and Borrego Solar Systems Inc. today announced the completion of and connection to PSEG-LI's electrical grid of the sPower Sutter and Sterlington solar projects in the Town of Riverhead, Suffolk County, Long Island. The two projects comprise the sPower Riverhead Solar Farm. With a combined system size of 6.3MWac (9.1MWdc), Riverhead Solar will produce more than 12 million kilowatt-hours of energy annually, enough to power 1,100 homes. -

Recurrent Energy Secures Financing for 60MW Barren Ridge Solar Power Project
Canadian Solar Inc. today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Recurrent Energy, closed on a debt facility with a club of banks and a tax equity investment commitment with U.S. Bancorp Community Development Corporation (USBCDC), securing financing for the 60 megawatt (MWac) Barren Ridge solar power project. Recurrent Energy will be the managing member and plans to own and operate the project, currently under construction in California. -

Hanwha Q CELLS Closes Financing for 8.1MW Solar Project in UK
Hanwha Q CELLS Co., Ltd. today announced that it has closed the financing of another solar project in the UK with Bayerische Landesbank ("Bayern LB"). Tower Hill Farms (8.1MW) is located in Gloucestershire and was connected in March 2015. EDF Energy has entered into a 15 year distributed generation purchase agreement with Tower Hill Farms. -
