    Suntech Solar Cell Efficiency Climbs to a New High

    Wuxi Suntech has achieved a new round of efficiency breakthroughs for its silicon solar cells. Tested by the National Center of Supervision and Inspection on Solar Photovoltaic Products Quality, the conversion efficiencies of Suntech's monocrystalline and polycrystalline solar cells have reached yields as high as 20.82% and 19.11% respectively, positioning Suntech as a leader in the global photovoltaic industry.

    NEXTracker Supplies Trackers to Power 42MW PV Project in Georgia

    NEXTracker today announced that it will ship its trackers to DEPCOM Power for the 42MW (DC) Paw Paw Solar Facility in central Georgia. The Paw Paw project, recently acquired by Southern Company subsidiary Georgia Power, is coming to fruition thanks to the Georgia Power Advanced Solar Initiative. Construction on Paw Paw began in June and the plant is due to be completed by the end of 2015.
