PSEG Completes PV Projects Totaling 21.32MW in New Jersey
PSE&G recently put two new landfill solar farms in service as part of the utility's Solar 4 All program. The 10.14MW-dc Parklands Solar Farm in Bordentown, NJ and the 11.18MW-dc Kinsley Solar Farm in Deptford, NJ were brought online in late-December 2014 and will supply enough grid-connected solar electricity to power about 3,500 average-size homes annually. -

SolAmerica and Citizens Energy Complete Total 5.1MW Solar Projects in Georgia
SolAmerica Energy, LLC and Citizens Energy Corporation today announced the completion of four solar projects totaling 5.1MW in various locations in the state of Georgia. The projects are part of the Georgia Power Advanced Solar Initiative pursuant to which Georgia Power will purchase power generated from the projects under a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement. -

Hanwha Q CELLS Provides Modules for 1.6MW Poland Solar Plant
One of Poland's largest photovoltaic power plants has been brought online at the Baltic Sea in Gdańsk. Hanwha Q CELLS supplied PVTEC Polska Sp. z o. o. and INSBUD Sp. z o.o., with circa 1.6MW of its crystalline Q.PRO-G3 modules with power classes of 260W. The two companies were responsible for planning and construction of the large-scale project in the Voivodeship of Pomerania; the installation took two months. The plant will produce enough clean energy to power around 720 households; based on the average energy consumption of a Polish household. The PV power station has been constructed for ENERGA Group. -

ABB Supplies Inverter Solutions to 70MW Solar Project in South America
ABB is supplying its inverter solutions to a 70 MW project in South America. The new park is the second-largest of its kind in the entire region. ABB supplied more than 45 of its ULTRA central inverters to the solar power plant.
