    Trina Solar to Supply 25MW Modules to Bangchak Solar Energy Project in Thailand

    Dec.19, 2013 - Trina Solar today announced that it has been chosen as the sole supplier of 25MW of modules to Phase III of the 75MW Bangchak Solar Energy Project in Thailand. The project is owned by Bangchak Solar Energy (Nakhonratchasima) Co., Ltd. ("BSE-NMA") and Bangchak Solar Energy (Chaiyaphum 1) Co., Ltd. ("BSE-CPM1"), the subsidiaries of Bangchak Solar Energy co., Ltd. ("BSE") and will be constructed by Gunkul Engineering Public Company ("Gunkul"). Trina Solar is expected to commence shipment in late December.

    SunPower Signs Supply Agreements with Ecomax for 20MW Solar Panels

    Dec. 17, 2013 - SunPower Corporation today announced that it has signed multiple supply agreements with Ecomax Japan Inc. to purchase SunPower Corporation's E20/327 solar panels totaling 20-megawatts (MW). In 2014, Ecomax plans to install the solar panels at several locations in Central and Northern Japan.

    Dec. 17, 2013 - Trina Solar Limited announced today that it has recently reached an agreement to supply 1MW of Trina Honey photovoltaic modules to Mustakbal Clean Tech ("Mustakbal") and Phoenix Solar Pte Ltd ("Phoenix Solar"), the Asia Pacific headquarters of German-based Phoenix Solar AG, for use in Jordan's first large-scale solar power project.

    Yingli Green Energy Wins 233MW Solar PV Projects in Algeria

    Dec. 16, 2013 - Yingli Green Energy, known as "Yingli Solar", today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Yingli Energy (China) Company Limited ("Yingli China"), together with Sinohydro Corporation Limited and Hydrochina Corporation ("Hydrochina"), formed a three-party Consortium ("Consortium") to win 233 megawatts of PV projects in Algeria. The projects will be developed by Shariket el Kahraba wa el Taket el Moutadiadida (SKTM), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sonelgaz (National Society for Electricity and Gas).

    Suniva Awarded $4.5 Million for Innovations in Solar Manufacturing

    Dec. 12, 2013 - The United States Department of Energy announced yesterday that Suniva has been awarded a $4.5 million grant to pursue innovations in its manufacturing processes for solar cells and modules.     Canadian Solar Announces 100MW Module Supply Agreement with Zhenfa New Energy in China

    Dec. 12, 2013 - Canadian Solar today announced that it has been awarded a module supply agreement to provide Zhenfa New Energy Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (Zhenfa New Energy) with photovoltaic ("PV") modules totaling 100MW for three solar power projects located in Gansu Province and one solar project in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China.

    Hanwha SolarOne Signs 13MW Module Supply Contract in China

    Dec. 11, 2013 - Hanwha SolarOne today announced it has signed a contract with Zhejiang Zhentai New Energy Development Co., Ltd. (a member of the "Chint Group") to supply modules with capacity of 12.96MW. The modules are scheduled for delivery in December 2013 and will be installed in a utility-scale project in Yongchang, Gansu Province.
