Yingli Solar obtained the carbon footprint CRE4 certification and PPE2 certification. Becoming one of the few of obtaining the two major France carbon footprint certifications in the PV industry, and injecting new energy to better access with the French and European markets.

The Carbon Footprint Certification, issued by the French Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE), is the most authoritative certification required for PV projects of 100kWp or above to enter the French market, with stringent entry conditions, and is generally recognized by European countries. This is why the French carbon footprint certification is extremely difficult to obtain, especially with the new PPE2 certification in 2023, where the standards have been upgraded from CRE4 and the requirements are even more demanding. Yingli Panda N-type module has successively obtained CRE4 and PPE2 certifications, highlighting the low-carbon advantages of Yingli's products and proving the strength of our green industry chain management.

At the same time, benefits to Yingli's green manufacturing experience accumulated over the last 26 years and the superior mass production efficiency of Panda N-type modules, Yingli's carbon emission is only 396 kg CO²/kWp,“Our product carbon emission are much lower than the rest of the PV industry, which on the one hand indicates the strength of Yingli's green supply chain management and green intelligence, and on the other hand shows the high efficiency and superior performance of our Panda N-type products.” Hital Wang, the Vice General Manager of Yingli International Sales, said.

As one of the earliest companies to enter the PV industry in China, Yingli has always played a leading role in carbon emission reduction and carbon neutrality. In 2012, Yingli became the first PV company in the world to receive the TÜV Rheinland Carbon Footprint Certification; In 2013, Yingli became the first company in China and the first company in the global PV industry to join WWF's "Climate saver" program; and in 2023, Yingli released its ESG report and became one of the first finalists of the "China's ESG Value Index for the New Energy Industry". In addition, Yingli also focuses on PV module recycling, and has built the first PV module green recycling treatment demonstration line in China, with the green industry chain management covering the whole life cycle of PV modules.

In the future, Yingli will always dive into product technology research and development, continue to deliver greener products and services, promoting clean energy for the benefit of more customers around the world.
