BTU International's SinTerra Selected for the Yingli State PV Laboratory

October 22, 2013 - BTU International, Inc. today announced that it has signed a two-year agreement with Yingli Green Energy to support the State Key Laboratory of PV Technology. As part of the agreement, BTU will supply a SinTerra metallization firing furnace system.

"BTU is excited to be part of China's PV development roadmap through the Yingli Solar State Key Laboratory of PV technology," ZepingZheng, Sales Director, Asia Pacific. "The selection of BTU's latest metallization firing technology, further demonstrates that SinTerra will deliver the future-enabled capabilities required to support the PV development roadmap."

The Yingli Solar State Key Laboratory of PV technology will be built as part of Yingli's main manufacturing campus in Baoding, Hebei Province and will focus on new technologies, processes and materials for solar manufacturing.
