    Hoku Corporation to Delist from the NASDAQ Global Market

    Hoku Corporation announced today that it intends to voluntarily terminate the listing of its common stock on The NASDAQ Global Market by filing a Form 25 with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC") on or about July 16, 2012. As previously announced, the Company is not in compliance with NASDAQ's continuing listing requirements due to its inability to maintain a $1.00 minimum bid price and to file its annual report on Form 10-K, and the Company expects its common stock to be delisted from The NASDAQ Global Market. To ensure an orderly delisting process, the Company has decided to voluntarily terminate the listing of its common stock on The NASDAQ Global Market by filing a Form 25 with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC") on or about July 16, 2012. On July 5, 2012, NASDAQ halted the trading of Hoku's common stock. NASDAQ has informed Hoku that the trading of its common stock on NASDAQ will remain halted until the delisting is completed upon the Form 25 filing.

    First Solar: Agua Caliente Reaches 200-Megawatt Milestone

    Today, NRG Energy, Inc., MidAmerican Solar and First Solar, Inc. announced that the 290-megawatt Agua Caliente solar project, currently under construction in Yuma County, Ariz., is more than two-thirds complete and delivering more than 200 megawatts to the electric grid. The Agua Caliente project is the world's largest operating photovoltaic power plant.

    centrotherm Files for Chapter 11-Type Proceedings

    centrotherm photovoltaics AG has today submitted an application to the relevant District Court of Ulm for the launching of insolvency protection proceedings (pursuant to the German Act Relating to the Further Simplification of the Reorganization of Companies [ESUG], and Section 270b of the German Insolvency Directive [InsO]), and for the opening of insolvency proceedings under its own administration in connection with this application. With the help of these proceedings, the company aims to consistently pursue the reorganization path that it has already adopted. The application includes the subsidiaries centrotherm thermal solutions GmbH & Co. KG and centrotherm SiTec GmbH. The activities of the companies centrotherm management services GmbH & Co. KG and centrotherm cell & module GmbH are to be prospectively bundled within the parent company as part of the reorganization. All other subsidiaries both in Germany and abroad will continue to operate as previously, and will not participate in the insolvency protection proceedings.

    Parabel's Krempendorf Solar Park Begins to Take Shape

    At the end of June 2012, the 40.5MW Jännersdorf solar park in Brandenburg (Prignitz, in the municipality of Marienfliess) was completed and commenced operation in accordance with the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG).
