Clenergy is proud to announce a new strategic distribution partnership with Failte Solar to grow its presence in the Ireland solar photovoltaic (PV) market. This partnership will enable Clenergy to offer its high-quality solar PV products and services to customers throughout Ireland, helping to drive the transition to renewable energy sources in the country.
With its ample solar irradiation, Ireland boasts a wealth of untapped potential for solar power. In addition, the Irish government has set ambitious energy transition goals, aiming to generate 70% of electricity from renewables by 2030. Furthermore, under the National Climate and Energy Plan (NECP) 2021-2030, the government has set indicative targets to achieve a capacity of 1.5GW of grid-connected solar PV.
The strategic alliance between Clenergy and Failte Solar is set to tap into these opportunities, enabling Clenergy to leverage Failte Solar's established distribution network and customer base to enhance its market presence in Ireland. By combining the strengths of both companies, the collaboration will create a strong and dynamic team capable of delivering top-quality solar PV solutions to customers across Ireland.
"We are delighted to announce this partnership with Failte Solar, which will enable us to expand our presence in the Ireland solar PV market and offer our products and services to customers throughout the country," said Daniel Hong, CEO of Clenergy. " The partnership is part of our innovative approaches to identifying strategic distribution partnerships that enable us to expand our operations across Europe."
As part of the agreement, Failte Solar is authorised to sell Clenergy's flagship product line PVezRack® and its RUNNUR sub-brand within Ireland through its distribution networks. It covers a wide variety of PVezRack® subcategories ranging from SolarRoof, SolarTerrace, EzTracker™, Clenergy Hollywood to PostMount, the RUNNUR cable management solutions, and other related accessories.
"Partnering with Clenergy to offer high-quality and innovative solar PV solutions to customers across Ireland is an exciting development for us," said Mr Abhilash, CEO of Failte Solar. "With Clenergy's extensive experience and global reach in the solar PV industry, Failte Solar is confident that this partnership will drive further business growth and contribute to the renewable energy sector in Ireland. The partnership is also committed to helping Ireland achieve its renewable energy targets and transition to a low-carbon future."
As Ireland continues to move towards a sustainable and clean energy-powered future, the demand for solar PV products and services is expected to grow significantly. Clenergy, as a leading provider of solar PV solutions, is in a prime position to capitalise on these opportunities and play a vital role in advancing Ireland's energy transition efforts.
