    Oct. 28, 2013 - As of the end of September, Solar Frontier has supplied Chiyoda Corporation, with 86MW of CIS solar panels for 18 installations. Chiyoda Corporation and Chiyoda System Technologies Corporation will perform the work of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC).

    Canadian Solar Receives CAD$104 Million Loan from Deutsche Bank

    Oct. 30, 2013 - Canadian Solar today announced it has signed a financing agreement pursuant to which Deutsche Bank has agreed to provide CAD$104 million in non-recourse, short-term construction financing to Canadian Solar for the construction of solar power projects in Ontario, Canada. The loans are expected to be repaid with the proceeds of the sale of the respective financed projects.

    Suntech Receives Investment Letter of Intent from Wuxi Guolian

    Oct. 30, 2013 - Suntech today announced it has received an investment letter of intent from Wuxi Guolian Development (Group) Co., Ltd. ("Guolian") to make an equity investment into the Company of not less than US$150,000,000 in cash in connection with supporting a comprehensive rehabilitation and restructuring of the financial and operational affairs of the Company. In addition, it is intended that Guolian would, upon satisfactory terms and conditions, cause related solar and other businesses it owns to be injected into the Company and/or enter into joint venture or similar arrangements with the Company to take advantage of the Company's global platform, distribution networks, and other synergies.

    Trina Solar to Strengthen Partnership with Anesco – Aiming for 150MW

    Lucia Mar Unified School District Awards Contract for Solar Energy to Chevron Energy Solutions

    Oct. 25, 2013 - On October 15, 2013, the school board of the Lucia Mar Unified School District (San Luis Obispo County, CA) awarded Chevron Energy Solutions a contract to design and develop an innovative program which will include solar energy systems, energy efficiency measures and improved lighting components that are estimated to save the district over $40 million, or about $20 million after paying all program costs over the 30-year project life.
